How Does the Compass Wallet Work?
Compass Wallet is currently available as a Chrome extension, Brave extension, and Android app that allows you to manage your assets on Sei securely and efficiently and connect with all the dapps, NFT & gaming projects on Sei.
To get started, you can download Compass Wallet for Android App OR Compass Wallet for Sei Chrome extension
Creating your first Sei wallet

Alternatively, you can follow these 5 easy steps 👇:
- Install the Compass Android app on your mobile device by using this link
- When you open the app, you will be presented with three options: create a new wallet or import an existing wallet. If you want to create a completely new wallet, choose the option to create a new wallet.
- You will be shown a secret recovery phrase. Make sure to save this phrase in a safe and secure location, as it is the only way to recover your wallet. Do not share this phrase with anyone. The seed phrase shown below is for Demo purposes.
- Add the missing words from the secret recovery phrase you have noted down with you. We have enabled this extra step to ensure you write your secret recovery phase with yourself on a piece of paper. Note: We won’t be able to help you recover the wallet if you lost your seed phrase.
- Your wallet is now set up and ready to use. You can now use your Compass wallet to access your assets and interact with the Sei Network, including staking Sei tokens and accessing NFTs and dApps in the Sei ecosystem using Compass mobile dApp browser.

Please note that Compass wallet is a self-custodial wallet which means you are always in control of your funds and make sure you keep your seed phrase safe.
Importing your existing Sei wallet into Compass

If you already have an existing Sei wallet, you can import it into Compass in 4 easy steps:
- Click on “Import an existing wallet”. You can import your existing Sei Wallet into Compass wallet with any of the below 4 options: Keplr Wallet or Leap Wallet or Fin Wallet or Using a Seed phrase
- Click on “Import using a Seed Phrase” and enter your seed phrase in the text box.
- Your wallet is now set up and ready to use. You can now use your Compass wallet to access your assets and interact with the Sei Network, including staking Sei tokens and accessing NFTs and dApps in the Sei ecosystem using Compass mobile dApp browser.
